Marondera based reggae artiste Simbarashe “Simross” Chatima has released a single titled Down Low appreciating women.

The upcoming crooner said he is also planning to explore other genres like Afro pop, rhumba, jazz among others.

“The new song is just a party song and it doesn’t really connect with my life but at times people need to refresh and shake the stress away through dancing.

“It is all about appreciating a girl’s moves and so far the few I can reach are loving it hoping I can grow from this stage.

“Girls are the future mothers so they need to be protected and uplifted, showing gratitude for what they do even for the little things like dance moves is enough to make them happy,” he said.

Simross said he was currently working on the accompanying video of the song Down Low.

“The visuals are being done by Simba Gee and the production by Trinnie Beats so everything is on point.

“The response is great, especially from the small town I come from, it has gone viral so in greatful and hoping the whole of Zimbabwe will love it too,” he said.

Simross said he owes his success to every woman in society.

“I encourage men to take a moment to just show appreciation to their women, giving them all the love they deserve and to stop harassing them and beating them up for they are the mothers of the nation, and they complete us”, said Simross.

Meanwhile, the video was shot in Marondera’s industrial area and the only challenge they faced was in monetary terms.
