A man from Queens Park East suburb in Bulawayo nearly killed his neighbor after he discovered a thread of saucy messages on Facebook between him and his wife.

Boniface Moyo thrashed his neighbor Amos Maunga with an iron metal bar, knobkerrie, and fists all over the body after he suspected that he was dating his wife, Nomasiko Moyo.

This whole debacle came about after Boniface’s son took his mother’s phone to play games. While playing games, a message from Maunga popped up and when he opened it, he was shocked to discover that the message which was asking after his mother’s health was from their neighbor Maunga.

Whilst he was scrolling through the messages, he allegedly came across a thread of  “saucy” messages between his mother and their neighbor.

The seemingly suspicious son allegedly took his mother’s phone and showed his father the messages.  After going through the messages, Moyo discovered that the two had been communicating for quite some time.

Infuriated, Moyo confronted Maunga who denied having an affair with his wife. In a fit of rage Moyo allegedly forcibly dragged Maunga to his house where he subjected him to a thorough beating.

As a result of the savage attack, Maunga sustained a swollen head, forehead, and bruises on his face.

Surprisingly Maunga didn’t report the matter to the police but approached the Bulawayo Civil Court to seek a peace order against Moyo.

According to B-Metro, Maunga didn’t go to court to corroborate his claims in his affidavit thus leading to his application being struck off the roll.
