“Zimbabwean People Are So Kind” Mihlali Ndamase’s Tweet Sparks Mixed Reactions On Social Media
Mzansi influencer, Mihlali Ndamase’s post on Twitter about Zimbabweans being kind has sparked mixed reactions on social media.
Mihlali who was in Bulawayo for the annual “The Pichani’ event which celebrates young achievers’ success from different fields praised Zimbabweans for their kindness and hospitality.
Taking to Twitter, Mihlali who clearly had a great time in Bulawayo posted that Zimbabweans are kind people.
Zim people are so kind
— Mihlali Ndamase (@mihlalii_n) October 10, 2021
Her tweet, however, sparked mixed reactions as some didn’t agree with her sentiments. They brought up Boity Thulo and Bujy Bikwa’s drama questioning how she could say Zimbabweans are kind when Bujy who is of Zimbabwean descent attacked Boity. They also highlighted some of the heinous crimes that have been committed by Zimbabweans in South Africa.
On the other hand, some were in agreement with her tweet. They however bemoaned how some people in South Africa take their kindness for granted and badly treat them just because they are foreigners.
Here are some of the reactions;

I hired them to build my Mom’s house and they are very talented…never had issues with them and they are so understanding, I always make sure I pay them on time

I think you are just generalizing without considering the individual differences of them. Where I come from we hire zims in good faith but what we get in return is filth, murders, housebreakings, car thefts, rapes.
